Why I Teach

Teaching is part of my family fabric, woven into my DNA by countless inspirational examples from my parents and siblings.

When students say that they learned so much more than they expected in my classes it’s gratifying - but when they say my classes are inspirational I feel I’m truly on the right path.

I try to stay true to the following criteria when designing a class:

  • Simple Recipes

  • Cost Effective Sourcing

  • Sustainable Choices

  • Health Supportive Ingredients

I have been honored to reach thousands of students in my many years of cooking, be they  dishwashers, heads of a households, interns, culinary students or fellow chefs.

Cooking skills are a gateway to wellness with the right ingredients and intention.

I look forward to sharing many more discoveries with you to help make your kitchen a nurturing place.

Mentorship

Providing mentorship to the up and coming artist requires teaching skill but more importantly inspiration.

Nothing could be more rewarding than nurturing value  in a promising student and watching them attract beneficial opportunities.
